Delivery
Corston products and components are held in stock in our workshop. When we receive an order, it enters our production flow to apply finishes, assemble, pick and pack. This process takes 3-5 days from order confirmation to delivery. Antique Brass orders take 8-10 days, as they have a longer finishing process where the colour cures and waxes are applied.
You will receive an email or text message with tracking details where you can manage the delivery. Corston and our delivery partners are responsible for delivering the order to the address on the invoice. Due to Covid-19, deliveries are often contactless. Under normal circumstances, a signature is required. 7 days after the order is shown as delivered, it is accepted by the customer as fully complete and received. Corston does not take any responsibility for claims of loss after this time. In rare circumstances where a product is out of stock, the website will allow the order to be placed. We will show the expected delay at checkout and have an expected stock date on the product pages. We will work to get the product to you as fast as we can.
Editing & Cancelling orders
We allow 2 hours after an order is placed to allow cancellation. If you would like to cancel an order, get in touch with us by phone or email. After this time, the order enters our production flow to apply finishes, assemble, pick and pack as fast as possible.
We are unable to edit an order. If there is a mistake with an order, it can be cancelled up to 2 hours after placing it. A new order can then be made with the corrected items. After 2 hours, the order is in the production system and is being made for you.
UK Delivery costs
• UK Delivery cost is £6 for orders £1-£99
• UK Delivery cost is £10 for orders £100-499
• UK Delivery cost is £20 for orders £500+
Channel Islands and Isle of Man Delivery costs
• UK Islands Delivery cost is £20 for orders £0-500
• UK Islands Delivery cost is £20 for orders £0-500
For delivery to Europe, it can take between 3-5 working days from dispatch with UPS or FedEx. For delivery to other international countries, it can take between 5-10 working days from dispatch with FedEx.
European Delivery costs
• European Delivery cost is £15 for orders £0-29
• European Delivery cost is £30 for orders £30-199
• European Delivery cost is £60 for orders £200-999
• European Delivery cost is £100 for orders over £1000+
European Delivery with Taxes and Duties Paid
• European Delivery cost is £35 for orders £0-29
• European Delivery cost is £55 for orders £30-59
• European Delivery cost is £65 for orders £60-99
• European Delivery cost is £95 for orders £100-199
• European orders with taxes paid over £200 will have to contact the sales team
Worldwide Delivery
• Worldwide Delivery cost is £30 for orders £1-199
• Worldwide Delivery cost is £80 for orders £200-999
• Worldwide Delivery cost is £130 for orders over £1000+
How Corston calculate taxes paid to Europe
Customers based in the European Union have the option of choosing between their orders delivered at place or with taxes paid. Delivered at place or DAP requires that import tax is immediately to the local government at the point of import. This will involve paying one of our couriers, FedEx or UPS to do this. Both couriers have an extra fee for this, typically between 5 and 20 Euros extra.
Customers who wish to remove hidden costs or the hassle of dealing with a second invoice, can choose to pay with taxes paid at checkout. We have calculated this by taking an average European Tax Rate + the cost of delivery + a small disbursement fee. We only offer this service to a maximum order value of £200. If your order value is above this, but still wish to deliver taxes paid, please contact our sales team for a quote.
Returns
If you have any problems with your order, please get in touch with us to help resolve it. Contact Us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return un-wanted products. Returns must be made within 60 days of the delivery date. Please find our returns form here. To get a full refund the products must be in their original packaging and in a resell able condition. Deductions will be made for missing, installed or damaged components.
Trade orders returned after 30 days of delivery will attract a 10% restocking fee. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns after 60 days. Beyond this time the products will not be accepted and they will be returned to you.
